Daimler's new Greater China headquarters in Beijing, jointly built by Mi2 and the automaker, recently won a Certificate of Excellence in the Professional – Best Office category at the A&D Trophy Awards for Interior Design.
Mi2 is proud to have won another prestigious design award for its work with Daimler Greater China on the automaker’s new Beijing headquarters: a Certificate of Excellence in the Professional – Best Office category at the A&D Trophy Awards for Interior Design.
The A&D Trophy Awards is the second prestigious award Mi2 has won this year for its work on Daimler’s Greater China headquarters. Earlier in the year, Mi2 scooped the Commercial Business – Workspace Design award at the 2017-2018 Liveable Office Awards for the Asia-Pacific region held by Herman Miller.

This year marked the 15th edition of the A&D Trophy Awards – the awards were previously called the Perspective Awards and created by Perspective Magazine, an industry-leading publication for architects and design professionals. This year’s award ceremony was held in Hong Kong on 16th November. Team members from Mi2’s Hong Kong office attended the ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of Mi2 and the Daimler Greater China project. Other winners at this year’s A&D Trophy Awards include projects by well-known architecture and design companies in the Asia-Pacific region including M Moser Associates, Obayashi Corporation and Aedas.
The A&D Trophy Awards were created to celebrate excellence in architecture, interior design and product design across Asia-Pacific and beyond, with a panel of expert local and international judges rewarding the most exceptional work in the region.
The Daimler Greater China Beijing Headquarters project was designed and planned by Mi2 and our client, Daimler China. It puts occupants' health and well-being first, while being at the forefront of sustainable building design.
