Ranked as the biggest search engine in China (and 2^nd Worldwide), Baidu has a mammoth appetite in all things they do. In an attempt to select the best interior architecture firm for their Global headquarters, Baidu set up a pan China competition in 2012. Mi2 was able to excel this competition as our design merges both East and West elements with contemporary, timeless design that appeal personally to Baidu’s founder Robin Li, during the design selection.  

The rock-climbing wall located in the middle of the campus reflects the client entrepreneurial and ambitious spirit, which is surrounded with futuristic meeting rooms & collaboration areas on various campus floors, supporting their daily need to meet & collaborate between the different teams. The campus design took over 2 years to build, with Mi2 in-house designers supporting the client and their appointed construction company from Day One to project completion.
