The client was a 4th generation family business and was one of the world’s biggest berries owners, with annual sales circa USD 2 billion.  They wanted the office to be an extension of their berries farms and have an organic feel to the entire space.  Mi2 and its team took to the strawberry and blueberry fields in Kunming and carry out extensive research and dialogue with its scientist team, local growers to identify the DNA of the firm, before coming out with a design that was uniquely Driscolls.

Upon entry in their office, one is greeted by a futuristic glass floating platform which houses plant specimens from their nursery and strawberry fields.  This “wow” factor demonstrates the fact that the client takes their berries seriously and one can immediately feel the heritage and passion that each and every individual staff possesses when they enter the rest of the office, which is extremely comfortable with a contemporary modern feel.
